Wood Street Galleries

By Lauryn Nania

If you’re making your way up Wood St., make a stop on 6th Ave above the Port Authority T-Station. At this location, you’ll find Wood Street Galleries, a two-floor visual arts exhibit from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

Wood Street Galleries offers interactive art displays from artists around the world. As other museums could get mundane after a few visits, Wood Street Galleries instills new contemporary and technological art displays every few months on each floor by a different artist.

Not only is the location of Wood Street Galleries convenient, but so is the price! Visiting the galleries is a great way to spend a few hours outside of your dorm all while saving cash. The galleries are free to the public during their hours of operation.
